Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Crisis Recovery Worker to join our team at Brook Street Social Care. As a key member of our 24/7 crisis recovery service, you will provide vital support to adults experiencing mental health crises.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to clients using a client-led recovery approach, promoting control and independence.
- Liaise with external agencies, including voluntary providers, to access a wide range of activities and resources.
- Work collaboratively with a small team to provide 24/7 support, including sleep ins and waking nights.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and circumstances.
Requirements
- Understanding of mental health issues and their impact on individuals.
- At least 6 months of experience working in a social care setting, preferably with a focus on mental health.
- Flexibility to work a varied rota, including sleep ins, waking nights, and 24/7 support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a creative and empathetic approach.
