About the Role

Recurrent Energy is seeking a highly skilled FP&A Manager to join our Global FP&A team in the EMEA region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support to our country leaders in the EMEA region, with a specific focus on the UK and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with country leaders in the EMEA region to optimize forecasts, manage risks, and drive improvements to financial performance.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Lead the reporting process for the EMEA region, including preparation of budgets, business plans, and financial reports.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, consolidate, and coordinate budget processes, including the elaboration of forecasting models and database files.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor the regional cash flow position on a weekly basis.
  • Contract Management: Review and approve contracts, purchase orders, and payments according to the established delegation of authority procedure.
  • Financial Analysis: Update cost and expense trend reports, analyzing variations and ensuring alignment with the forecast.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Elaborate reports and build up new analysis ad hoc for the Management, including analysis by project and portfolio for the UK entity.
  • Team Management: Coordinate members assigned to the FP&A team in EMEA (currently 1 resource).
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 5+ years of overall experience in a finance department, preferably 2+ years in accounting.
  • People Management: Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience along with people management experience.
  • US GAAP and IFRS: Good knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, with experience in SAP, MS Office (strong Excel and PowerPoint knowledge).
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and time management skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail in all areas of work.
Work Location

The successful candidate will be based in the EMEA region, with frequent travel to our main locations (UK, Spain, Italy). We are open to having the successful candidate based in London, Milan, or Madrid.
