Role Overview
This position is pivotal in overseeing all Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) functions across the EMEA region, which includes countries such as the UK, Spain, Italy, and South Africa. The selected candidate will act as a strategic partner to regional leaders, focusing on enhancing forecasts, managing financial risks, and driving improvements in financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Lead the financial reporting process for the EMEA region, which encompasses the preparation of budgets, business plans, and comprehensive financial reports.
  • Develop, consolidate, and coordinate the budgeting process, including the creation of forecasting models and maintaining database files.
  • Support the organization’s monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, performing account reconciliations and analyses as necessary.
  • Monitor the regional cash flow position on a weekly basis to ensure financial health.
  • Prepare reports and conduct new ad hoc analyses for management, focusing on project and portfolio performance for the UK entity.
  • Collaborate with other regions and headquarters to provide necessary information and data.
  • Oversee team members assigned to the FP&A function in the EMEA region.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of overall experience in a Finance Department, with at least 2 years in an Accounting role.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience, including experience in managing teams.
  • A proven ability to perform functions in compliance with regulations, laws, policies, and standards.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in SAP and MS Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Tipalti and Xero is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the EMEA region.
