KPMG is seeking a seasoned SAP Data Director to spearhead business development, practice growth, and delivery of transformative solutions powered by SAP technology. This high-visibility role demands a blend of business acumen, sales expertise, practice development, and client engagement excellence.

In this unique opportunity, you will shape the future of KPMG's SAP Data practice within a leading global professional services firm.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Drive new business opportunities and lead pre-sales initiatives (RFP responses, direct awards), engaging directly with senior stakeholders (typically CxOs) and managing bid teams with limited support from SAP business partners.
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen by proposing compelling solutions within proposals and effectively defending your rationale during partner reviews.
  • Enhance KPMG's Powered Enterprise offerings, focusing on readily deployable assets, demos, and accelerators that deliver clear ROI. Emphasize automation, clean core, and AI-driven solutions.
  • Contribute to the thought leadership of KPMG by authoring external white papers and points of view on SAP Data trends and best practices.
  • Foster strong relationships with SAP to gain insights into future roadmap developments, align joint target accounts, and drive the direction of KPMG's offerings in this domain.
  • Attract, recruit, train, and retain top talent within the SAP Data practice.
  • Serve as the senior data architect for complex engagements with our flagship clients.
Your Profile:

KPMG's rapidly growing SAP business seeks self-driven individuals with proven experience and a passion for shaping the future of SAP within a Big4 environment.

  • Possess deep experience selling and delivering in key SAP Data domains: Migrate (data preparation, data migration, data governance), Orchestrate (integration, processing, and cataloguing), and Cultivate (quality management, central governance, consolidation).
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP MDG, SAP Data Services, and the future direction of the SAP roadmap.
  • Experience working with third-party tools (e.g., Syniti, SNP, etc.) in the context of data migration and carve-outs is highly desirable.
  • Have successfully delivered 4+ end-to-end SAP programs as an end-to-end SAP Data Lead.
  • Experience selling and delivering under a RISE contract from the business development/sales phase through implementation go-live.
  • Proven track record in leading complex bids that encompass S/4HANA and other SAP and non-SAP technologies. This high-profile role requires experience leading bids end-to-end with limited support from senior stakeholders. This includes identifying SMEs, delivery teams, win themes, and managing them to craft compelling and winning proposals.
  • Experience in establishing a regular cadence with SAP to understand future roadmap direction and co-innovation opportunities.
  • Successfully managed onshore and offshore resources both for individual engagements and overall practice perspective.
  • Understanding of SAP's AI roadmap and experience in creating assets, products, solutions that leverage it to benefit customers.
  • Developed assets and accelerators deployed to multiple clients.
