Catering Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team at Chartwells - Universities. As a Catering Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchens and service counters, delivering exceptional food experiences to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and present high-quality food to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate our culinary and catering teams to achieve exceptional food and customer service standards.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with your line manager and colleagues to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination.
- Brand Representation: Represent Chartwells - Universities and maintain a positive brand image, upholding our values and standards.
- Customer Liaison: Liaise with customers to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring we exceed their expectations and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Training and Development: Support and train our teams, leading by example to ensure everyone has the skills and knowledge to excel in their role.
- Health and Safety: Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
- Passion for Food and Service: Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service, with a minimum of two years of catering experience.
- Team Management: Have experience managing teams in a similar role, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Certifications and Qualifications: Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate and be an ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill.
