Chief Technology Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technology Officer to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Digital and IT senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the technology strategy and roadmap for our hospital group, driving technological innovation and optimising operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead the implementation of the University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust and North Bristol NHS Trust hospital groups technology strategy.
- Ensure the smooth running of trust digital services by leading the Technology Services function for both organisations.
- Take the lead on all matters related to IT, including the design and delivery of the strategic direction for the technology roadmap supporting the delivery of the Joint Clinical Strategy.
- Provide expert professional advice on technical matters and use your experience to lead and develop four key departments that form the Technology Services teams in both organisations: Data Networks, Service Infrastructure, Service Delivery and Cyber Security.
