Chief Technology Officer

Location: Hybrid

Compensation: Up to £150k + Bonus + Equity

Finatal is collaborating with a dynamic and rapidly growing Private Equity backed Software as a Service (SaaS) organization that is on a mission to establish itself as a leader in its sector. Following significant investment from a mid-market private equity fund in the UK and Europe, the company has experienced substantial growth and is preparing for a potential exit in the near future. They are in search of a Chief Technology Officer with a strong background in the SaaS domain to guide them through this critical phase, shaping the strategic growth initiatives and overall direction of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to the CEO, you will evaluate the existing technology strategy and develop a roadmap to enhance return on investment, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.
  • As the technology ambassador within the organization, you will collaborate closely with the product team to formulate innovative product strategies and drive the team towards further expansion.
  • Effective stakeholder management will be crucial, as you will oversee all internal and external technology partnerships, evaluating current and prospective vendors while managing the internal software development team.
  • You will provide technical oversight throughout the software development lifecycle, from initial build to deployment, ensuring maximum efficiency and automation of processes.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a technology leader within a SaaS business model, with a proven track record of delivering scalable products on time and within budget; experience in the private equity sector is a plus.
  • Expertise in formulating technology strategies and scaling teams in a fast-paced international environment.
  • Technical knowledge across cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, as well as proficiency in programming languages like Python and Java.
  • Outstanding skills in managing and influencing both internal and external stakeholders, including investors, clients, and cross-functional teams.
