-ROLE OVERVIEW;

We are seeking a skilled professional with experience in specification sales, particularly within the HVAC industry. The ideal candidate will engage with architects and consulting engineers, primarily in the Greater London area and the M25 corridor. This position offers a competitive salary package along with additional corporate benefits.

-KEY RESPONSIBILITIES;

  • As a Specification Sales Manager, you will promote our client's innovative and energy-efficient HVAC products.
  • Your primary focus will be on securing specifications from architects, M&E consultants, and consulting engineers, dedicating 80-90% of your time to this effort.
  • You will oversee the project lifecycle, collaborating closely with M&E contractors and building services professionals.
  • Your influence will extend across various sectors, including educational institutions, retail environments, healthcare facilities, and commercial spaces.
  • You'll be responsible for presenting informative CPD seminars to educate specifiers about the advantages of our HVAC offerings.
  • This role requires frequent travel, with four days spent visiting clients and one day allocated for administrative tasks and follow-ups.

-CANDIDATE PROFILE;

  • The successful candidate will possess a proven track record in specification sales within the HVAC or building services sector.
  • Experience with aligned products such as air handling units, chillers, and pumps will be advantageous.
  • You should be adept at conducting technical design reviews and understanding customer requirements to propose suitable solutions.
  • Collaboration with internal sales and design teams to develop technical solutions is essential.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage projects through to completion are crucial.
  • We are looking for an outgoing, organized individual who excels in problem-solving and prioritization.
  • A valid UK driving license is required.

-COMPENSATION PACKAGE;

  • Competitive base salary ranging from £52,000 to £60,000, based on experience.
  • Potential for a 20% performance-based bonus.

  • Generous holiday entitlement of 25 days plus 8 bank holidays.
  • Pension scheme with matching contributions up to 6%.
