Perinatal Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Perinatal Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with service users, families, and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct home visits and assessments to identify goals and develop personalized care plans.
- Run groups and activities, such as baby massage and weaning, to promote healthy development and bonding.
- Provide evidence-based interventions, focusing on prevention, promotion, and early intervention, to support service users and their families.
- Liaise with colleagues, external stakeholders, service users, and their families to ensure seamless care and support.
- Ensure safe, effective, and culturally competent care is delivered in a timely manner.
- National Nursery Education Board Qualification or equivalent to BTEC (National Diploma in Nursery Nursing / early years).
- NVQ level 3 (childcare and education) or foundation degree in early years, with at least 1 year's experience.
- Previous experience working in community settings.
- Demonstrates continued professional development to maintain skills.
- A competitive salary of £31,944 to £34,937 per annum, inclusive of Inner London HCAS.
