Consultant Psychiatrist in Perinatal Mental Health

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership for patients accessing our Perinatal Mental Health Service, acting as the Responsible Clinician and leading on quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical leadership for patients accessing the Perinatal Mental Health Service
- Act as the Responsible Clinician
- Lead on quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation projects
- Provide medical input, consultation, and clinical leadership
- Clinical supervision of Specialty Grade doctors
- Medical Degree
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
- Experience of assessing and treating patients in acute and community psychiatric settings
- Excellent clinical skills using biopsycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
The successful candidate will be a strong leader with excellent clinical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality care in Perinatal Mental Health. They will be able to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and provide clinical leadership to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
