About the Role

The Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Nursery Nurse to join our Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with service users, their families, and our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct home visits and assessments to identify service users' goals and needs.
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based interventions to promote healthy outcomes for mothers and babies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and concise records of service user interactions and progress.
  • Communicate effectively with a range of individuals and organizations, using verbal and non-verbal skills.

Person Specification

  • National Nursery Education Board Qualification or equivalent.
  • NVQ level 3 in childcare and education, or a foundation degree in early years, with at least one year's experience.
  • Previous experience working in community settings, with a focus on perinatal mental health.
