About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Manager to join our team at LaplandUK. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day retail operations of our experience, ensuring that our retail stores are fully staffed and stocked, and that our teams are fully briefed and trained in their roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Develop and implement retail strategies, including product, visual merchandising, and sales forecasts, to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for our guests.
  • Event Operations: Oversee the set-up and closing of retail departments, ensuring that cleaning, stock levels, and visual merchandising standards are consistently met.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure that guest expectations are consistently met and exceeded through warm and welcoming service delivery, following our operating procedures and sequence of service.
  • HR: Train and develop team members to ensure service and quality standards are consistently met, and maintain and improve the morale of our Retail Elves during the event.
  • Loss Prevention: Work closely with our Warehouse Manager to ensure that any stock movements are properly recorded and stock wastage is minimized.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a retail supervisory role.
  • Strong operational and hands-on leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and engage other members of the team.
