About LaplandUK

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Duty Manager to join our team at LaplandUK. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through the management of our retail operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Planning and Preparation**

  • Develop and implement retail strategies to drive sales and enhance the guest experience.
  • Ensure that all retail areas are fully stocked and staffed, with a focus on maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.

**Operational Excellence**

  • Lead and manage a team of retail staff to deliver exceptional guest service and ensure that all retail transactions are accurately executed.
  • Monitor and control retail costs, including stock management and inventory control.

**Guest Experience**

  • Develop and implement strategies to exceed guest expectations and drive loyalty.
  • Train and coach retail staff to provide exceptional guest service and promote a culture of teamwork and excellence.

**HR and Compliance**

  • Manage disciplinary issues and staff grievances in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all retail staff are fully briefed and trained in their roles and responsibilities.

**Loss Prevention**

  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize stock loss and prevent theft.
  • Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure that all stock movements are properly recorded and accounted for.

**Essential Qualifications and Experience**

  • Previous experience in a retail management role, preferably in an experiential retail environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and guests.
