Retail Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Manager to join our team at LaplandUK. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day retail operations of our experience, ensuring that our retail stores are fully staffed and stocked, and that our teams are fully briefed and trained in their roles.
Key Responsibilities- Event Planning: Be fully aware of current retail strategies, including product, visual merchandising, and sales forecasts, prior to site launch.
- Event Operations: Ensure all retail departments' set-up or closing duties at the beginning/end of daily operations are complete, and that cleaning, stock levels, and visual merchandising standards have been adhered to.
- Guest Experience: Ensure guest expectations are consistently met and exceeded through warm and welcoming service delivery, following our operating procedures and sequence of service.
- HR: Train team members to ensure service and quality standards are consistently met. Maintain and improve the morale of Retail Elves during the event.
- Loss Prevention: Ensure any stock movements are properly recorded and stock wastage is minimized and properly accounted for alongside the Warehouse Manager.
- Previous experience in a retail supervisory role.
- Lead by example as a strong operational, hands-on, role model.
- Bright and articulate, with the ability to influence and engage other members of the team.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
