As a Quality Engineer Lead, you will oversee all testing activities across multiple projects simultaneously. You will devise a testing strategy and develop comprehensive test plans, considering the scope, resources, and skill sets of your team.

You will provide quality engineering oversight, offer technical guidance, and set the team's direction while fostering the professional growth of your colleagues through challenging technical and personal development initiatives.

Collaborating closely with development and analysis teams, you will conduct thorough analyses to grasp both functional and non-functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all functionality-based testing, incorporating elements of test automation.
  • Ensure all testing artifacts meet business standards and quality expectations.
  • Define and deliver business scenarios and test scripts.
  • Conduct both Manual and Automation Testing (SOAP UI).
  • Perform API Testing (SOAP UI) and maintain test packs for various projects.
  • Execute post-release testing in production environments.
  • Provide support to the Operations team for critical issues as needed.
  • Manage defects and reporting activities using ALM and JIRA.
  • Administer solutions based on .NET, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and other web technologies.
  • Engage in Front End web development utilizing HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, focusing on responsive design and graceful degradation techniques.
  • Cover multiple user roles, devices, browsers, and operating systems through online tools.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong background in Quality Engineering with an understanding of both agile and non-agile development practices.
  • Experience with Wrap Platform testing, particularly with SIPP, ISA, and GIA products.
  • Knowledge of Cyber Security standards.
  • Broad experience in various testing types, including system, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Familiarity with the entire development lifecycle from inception to production.
  • Passion for mentoring other software and quality engineers while fostering a strong team culture.
  • Good understanding of UX and UI principles and best practices.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Performance Centre / Loadrunner - Enterprise script creation and test execution.
  • Postman - Script and connectivity testing.
  • Software as a Service offerings.
  • CA DevTest - Virtual servicing.
  • Jmeter - Script creation.
