As a Quality Engineer Lead, you will oversee all testing activities across multiple projects simultaneously. You will devise a testing strategy and develop test plans that consider the scope, resources, and competencies of the team.

You will provide quality engineering guidance, technical leadership, and set the team's direction while fostering the growth of colleagues through challenging technical and personal development plans.

Collaborating closely with development and analysis teams, you will conduct thorough analyses to comprehend both functional and non-functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all functionality-based testing, incorporating elements of test automation.
  • Ensure all testing artifacts meet business standards and quality expectations.
  • Define and deliver business scenarios and test scripts.
  • Conduct Manual and Automation Testing (SOAP UI).
  • Perform API Testing (SOAP UI) and maintain test packs for various projects.
  • Execute post-release testing in production environments.
  • Support the Operations team in production for critical issues as needed.
  • Manage defects and reporting activities using ALM and JIRA.
  • Administer solutions based on .NET, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and other web technologies.
  • Engage in Front End web development using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, focusing on responsive design and graceful degradation techniques.
  • Cover multiple user roles, devices, browsers, and operating systems using online tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong background in Quality Engineering with a solid understanding of agile and non-agile development practices.
  • Experience with Wrap Platform testing, including knowledge of SIPP, ISA, and GIA products.
  • Familiarity with Cyber Security standards.
  • Comprehensive experience in various testing types, including system, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Exposure to the entire development lifecycle from inception to production.
  • Passion for mentoring other software and quality engineers while cultivating a robust team culture.
  • Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of UX and UI principles and best practices.

Technical Skills:

  • Performance Centre / Loadrunner - Enterprise script creation, test execution, and high-level transactional monitoring.
  • Postman - Script / Connectivity testing.
  • Software as a Service offerings.
  • CA DevTest - Virtual servicing.
  • Jmeter - Script Creation.
