Job Title: Assistant Quality Surveillance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Quality Surveillance Engineer to join our team at WSP. As a key member of our Quality Services business group, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding product and service conformity to meet our clients' highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Quality Control and Assurance of Mechanical and/or Electrical equipment during manufacture, ensuring compliance with national and international standards.
  • Conduct supplier and process audits, contributing to the continuous improvement of our quality systems.
  • Assist in the review, mark-up, and approval of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and associated quality documentation.
  • Engage directly with clients and their supply chains, addressing all quality matters with clear communication.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports that document the results of Quality Surveillance activities.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, providing technical insights that support inspection and testing activities.
Requirements:
  • Recognised craft apprenticeship training and formal engineering qualifications (HNC, HND, BEng, BSc, or equivalent).
  • Electrical Engineering: Transformers, Generators, Switchgear, Cables, Motors
  • Mechanical Engineering: Valves, Pumps, Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Rotating Plant, Piping, Pressure Vessels, Compressors
  • Quality Engineering: Auditing, Supply Chain Assessment, Quality Management Systems
