Position: Quality Engineer

Role Overview:

As a Quality Engineer in our PPR division, you will be instrumental in maintaining the high standards of our products and services. We are looking for a dedicated professional with a strong background in quality assurance to ensure that our offerings consistently meet and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Plans in line with internal, customer, and international standards.
  • Collaborate with Production, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to establish inspection and testing requirements for various processes including machining, welding, and assembly.
  • Review and validate vendor certifications to ensure adherence to ITPs.
  • Support Non-Conformance Report (NCR) processes, facilitate root cause analysis, and implement effective preventative measures to maintain superior quality metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to promote a culture of Safety, Quality, and Environmental Protection within the organization.
  • Engage with suppliers through our development program to foster continuous improvement and minimize non-conformances.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or related fields.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Quality processes, procedures, and Engineering Standards, preferably including API 610.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing ITPs and Quality Plans.
  • Familiarity with rotating equipment is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong emphasis on customer service.
  • A systematic and organized approach to tasks.
  • Proficient in root cause analysis techniques (e.g., 5 Why, 8D).
