Job Overview
Primary Care Careers is seeking a dedicated Patient Services Coordinator to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. This role will involve working across several days of the week, specifically Monday through Thursday. We are looking for an individual who is eager to contribute positively to our community through exceptional service.
In this vital front-line position, the Patient Services Coordinator will assist patients in navigating our services, maintain accurate health records, and ensure efficient management of appointment scheduling. Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming and guiding all patients upon arrival.
- Scheduling appointments and distributing appointment cards as necessary.
- Handling prescriptions, letters, completed forms, and specimen bottles.
- Addressing inquiries and resolving issues or complaints.
- Informing patients about practice procedures.
- Registering new patients into the system.
- Answering phone calls in a timely manner.

Essential Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with a clear and courteous telephone demeanor.

- Experience in public-facing roles, demonstrating sensitivity and empathy in challenging situations.
- Capability to work collaboratively within a team and the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
- Proficient IT and administrative skills.
- Flexibility to occasionally work additional or alternative hours to support colleagues.
Desirable Qualifications
- Previous experience as a medical or healthcare receptionist is preferred.
