We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practice Nurse and IPC Lead to join our team at Babylon. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and leading the implementation of new services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the nursing team in the delivery of patient care and services
- Develop and implement new services and workflows to improve patient outcomes
- Manage and supervise a team of nursing staff, including Practice Nurses, Nursing Associates, and Healthcare Assistants
- Conduct appraisals and provide regular feedback and supervision to direct reports
- Investigate incidents and complaints, and make recommendations for improvement
- Act as the Infection Prevention and Control lead for the site, completing audits and following up on actions
- Ensure the nursing services conform to CQC and other statutory requirements
- Participate in establishing and completing relevant nursing audits
- Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration
- Practice Nurse qualification or accredited long term condition modules + individual competencies
- Cervical Smear Taker
- Able to run and manage QOF workflows and clinics
- Ear irrigation training
- Non-medical prescriber
- Previous line management experience
- Previous IPC experience
