IPC Systems, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Network and Data Sales department, you will be responsible for soliciting assigned prospects and clients, converting inbound web leads, and establishing a vendor network to attain quota selling IPC's Electronic trading portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of technical sales experience, with 3 to 5 years selling to the financial sell side and buy side vertical markets. They will possess solution sales skills, excellent grammar, written and oral communication skills, and a high-level understanding of computer networking technology and industry trends, especially in Electronic Trading and Market Data.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for meeting or exceeding revenue goals as established by IPC Senior Management, customer contract negotiations, understanding and articulating the company's value proposition through a consultative sales approach, and establishing and qualifying pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed revenue goals as established by IPC Senior Management.
  • Customer contract negotiations to attain quota, within pre-approved gross margin parameters.
  • Understanding and articulating the company's value proposition through a consultative sales approach.
  • Establishing and qualifying pipeline, engaging appropriate resources to develop technical requirements and solutions.

Desirable Experience/Skills/Qualifications:

  • 5 to 8 years of technical sales experience.
  • 3 to 5 years selling to the financial sell side and buy side vertical markets.
  • Solution sales skills.
  • Excellent grammar, written and oral communication skills.
  • High-level understanding of computer networking technology and industry trends, especially in Electronic Trading and Market Data.
