About the Role:

As a Senior Staff Nurse in our Paediatric Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to a team of staff, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver education and training programs, promoting best practice and continuous professional development.

Requirements:

  • Registered Children's Nurse on the relevant part of the NMC register.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development through maintenance of an NMC revalidation or equivalent.
  • Paediatric Intermediate Life Support.
  • Advanced Paediatric Life Support (desirable).
  • Post graduate modules undertaken in specialist area or evidence of continuing professional development.

Working Arrangements:
