Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered General Nurse to join our team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. As a Bank Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate programs of care for a defined caseload of patients, working within the professional standards held in the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
- Work collaboratively with the shift leader and multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective nursing care.
- Monitor the work of the nursing team and support colleagues to provide high-quality patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant skills and knowledge, and document accordingly.
- Participate in continuing professional development and demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning.
Requirements
- Registered General Nurse (RGN Level 1) or RN with a current NMC registration.
- Working knowledge of wards or departments and organisational policies and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
