About the Role:

NHS National Services Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Bank Staff Nurse to join our team at University Hospital Crosshouse. As a Bank Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate programs of care for a defined caseload of patients, working within the professional standards held in the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure safe and effective nursing care, adhering to local and national protocols, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Monitor the work of the nursing team and support colleagues to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN Level 1) or RN with a current NMC registration.
  • Working knowledge of wards or departments and organisational policies and procedures.
  • Ability to keep relevant skills/knowledge updated and documented.
  • Commitment to lifelong learning and evidence of continuing professional development.
