Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Store Person to join our team at SSP Group. As a Store Person, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service, ensuring a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales team in achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Replenish stock and move stock to ensure a well-stocked store environment.
  • Complete all paperwork involved in receiving, transferring, and maintaining stock levels.
  • Ensure all aspects of food storage, safety, and delivery are met.
  • Unload and safekeep items to ensure quality of products and prevent product damage.
  • Regularly communicate any issues with the management team.
  • Monitor flow of goods and implement FIFO (First in-First out) to ensure efficient stock management.
  • Play a part in ensuring the store appearance always meets our high standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role is desirable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move stock as required.
  • FLT licence is a plus, but not required.
