Job Title: Town Planning Director

Salary: £80,000+

Company Type: Private Consultancy

We are assisting a leading private consultancy in the UK who are looking to grow their planning team and take on an additional planning director to come in as a key contributor and drive the company's growth further. They focus on a wide range of projects including Environmental Impact Assessment, land promotion, master planning, residential and large developments so someone who has skills across the board would be a great asset to this team.

The right candidate would need to bring a client base with them.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement strategic planning initiatives to drive business growth.
  2. Lead project teams from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  4. Mentor and develop the more junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow professionally.
  5. Ensure compliance with planning regulations, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 8 years of planning experience within a private consultancy, with a strong track record of success.
  2. Strong knowledge of the UK planning system, including relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Experience of earning, with a proven ability to drive business growth and revenue.
  4. RTPI Chartered Membership (highly desirable).
