Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Resolution Specialist to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a Claims Resolution Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible outcome in the event of a road traffic accident.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of policyholder's write off claims through to settlement.
  • Make and receive calls from internal and external parties to discuss claims and provide updates.
  • Provide excellent customer service, empathy, and understanding to our customers, while ensuring clear expectations are set and regular updates are provided throughout the claims process.
  • Validate claims and policies to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain accurate record keeping, reserves, and a proactive diary system to ensure timely case reviews.
  • Achieve departmental and business targets by meeting or exceeding performance metrics.
Requirements
  • Outstanding customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong active listening skills to understand customer needs and concerns.
  • Proactive approach to work with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks.
  • Natural ability to lead conversations and objection handle to resolve claims efficiently.
  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness in all aspects of the job.
