FitzRoy is seeking dedicated care assistants to become part of our Supported Living Plus Service. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our ongoing development and service enhancement.

Our facility accommodates young individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs, providing them with personalized support in a nurturing environment.

Each resident enjoys their own private living space, complemented by shared areas for community interaction and a lovely garden for outdoor activities.

In this role, you will support individuals with a variety of daily activities, including personal hygiene, budgeting, shopping, recreational outings, and enjoying the scenic surroundings.

This position can be challenging, so we are looking for compassionate, patient, and resilient individuals who are eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support.

A full UK driving license is advantageous, as you will assist residents during outings.

Available Roles:

  • Day shifts: £11.25 per hour on weekdays and £12.38 on weekends.
  • Waking Night shifts: £11.59 per hour on weekdays and £12.74 on weekends.
  • Opportunities for both full-time and part-time hours.
  • Additional £2.50 for overtime shifts.
  • Enhanced pay for working on public holidays.
  • Initial holiday entitlement of 30 days (FTE).

Care Assistant Opportunities

This role offers daily fulfillment. Previous experience in care is not essential; if you have the right values, we will provide the necessary training and support to ensure you are equipped to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Care Assistant Schedule

You will adhere to a structured schedule of morning and afternoon shifts, each lasting 7.5 hours. A full-time position consists of 37.5 hours per week (5 shifts). The earliest shift begins at 7 am, and the latest concludes at 10 pm.

Waking Night shifts run from 8 pm to 8 am.

Weekend availability is required on a rotating basis, with compensatory time off during weekdays for weekend work.
