Job Title: Assertive Outreach Worker
Job Type: Full-time
Contract: 6 Month Contract
Pay: £14.24 per hour (PAYE), £88 per hour (LTD company rate)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Assertive Outreach Worker, supporting rough sleepers in accessing health, welfare, and accommodation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with rough sleepers and support them in accessing health, welfare, and accommodation services
- Maintain a small caseload of rough sleepers needing assistance to secure temporary or private accommodation
- Work alongside Homelessness & Housing Advice Officers and Support Workers
- Assist clients in accessing benefits and welfare services
Requirements:
- At least 2 years' experience working with clients facing mental health, substance misuse, or debt issues
- In-depth understanding of homelessness issues and welfare benefits
- Familiarity with local services and demographics
