FitzRoy is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our Supported Living Plus Service in Hampshire.

At Fernhill Court, a vibrant facility, we provide personalized support to up to eighteen young adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. Some residents may exhibit challenging behaviors, requiring patience and understanding from our team.

Each resident enjoys their own self-contained flat, along with shared spaces for socializing and a spacious garden perfect for summer activities.

As a Care Professional, you will assist residents with daily tasks such as:

  • Personal care
  • Financial management
  • Shopping
  • Outings and walks in the beautiful New Forest area

This role can be demanding, but it is incredibly rewarding. We are looking for individuals who are:

A full UK driving license is preferred as you will accompany residents on external outings.

We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rates: £11.25 per hour on weekdays and £12.38 on weekends for day shifts, £11.59 per hour on weekdays and £12.74 on weekends for waking nights.
  • Full-time or part-time hours available
  • Additional £2.50 for overtime shifts
  • Time and a half or double pay for working on public holidays
  • Initial 30 days of holiday entitlement (FTE)

Training and Development:

Prior care experience is not essential. If you possess the right values, we will provide comprehensive training and guidance to ensure you are confident in delivering exceptional care and support.

Schedule:

You will follow a fixed schedule of morning and afternoon shifts, each lasting 7.5 hours. A full-time contract involves 37.5 hours per week (5 shifts). The earliest shift starts at 7 am, and the latest shift ends at 10 pm.

Waking Night shifts are from 8 pm to 8 am.

Weekend availability is required on a rotating basis, with compensatory time off during weekdays if you work on weekends.
