About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care and Support Professional to join our team at Sanctuary Group. As a Care and Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning and physical disabilities to maximize their potential and independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized support to encourage customers to achieve their goals and aspirations
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with customers and other stakeholders
  • Deliver high-quality care and support services, including personal care and medication management
  • Support customers to engage in activities and participate in their local community
  • Promote a positive culture and prevent social isolation among customers
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean and comfortable environment
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure a safe and healthy environment for customers

Requirements

  • Previous experience in delivering personal care is desirable
  • A kind and caring nature, with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of customers
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards, is desirable
