Assistant Local Service Coordinator

Salary: £29,055 - £30,585 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Sanctuary Supported Living is excited to announce an opportunity for an Assistant Local Service Coordinator within our CQC Registered facility, focusing on Learning and Physical Disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the recruitment, development, and training of staff while adhering to relevant legislative and NVQ standards, and creating efficient staff schedules.
  • Championing best practices to ensure high-quality service delivery by our team.
  • Implementing effective support systems to maintain compliance and operational excellence.
  • Assisting the Local Service Manager in managing vacant properties efficiently.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with clients and external agencies, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively with both statutory and voluntary partners.
  • Occasional travel may be required; therefore, a valid driving license is preferred.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated management or supervisory experience in a social care setting is essential.
  • Experience in a CQC regulated environment is advantageous.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated, with a proactive approach to achieving positive outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations.
  • Familiarity with support planning, risk assessment, and safeguarding practices.
  • Ability to work effectively under challenging conditions.
  • Proficient in using IT systems.
