We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team at Colten Care. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering a variety of activities for our residents, including group singing, acting, games, and quizzes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver a range of activities for residents, including group singing, acting, games, and quizzes.
- Support the community team in organizing events and activities, such as coffee mornings, fayres, and functions.
- Work closely with the care team to ensure that activities are tailored to the needs and interests of our residents.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups and organizations to access resources and opportunities for our residents.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Experience of working in a care or community setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative ideas for activities.
- Knowledge of the care sector and current issues affecting older people.
