Sanctuary Supported Living is excited to announce an opportunity for an Assistant Community Service Manager within our CQC Registered facility, focusing on Learning and Physical Disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the recruitment, development, and training of staff, ensuring compliance with relevant legislative or NVQ frameworks, and creating efficient staff schedules.
- Encouraging best practices to guarantee high-quality service delivery by the team.
- Establishing effective support systems to ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Assisting the Community Service Manager in managing vacant properties efficiently.
- Maintaining a solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Building and nurturing relationships with clients and relevant external organizations, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively with both statutory and voluntary partners.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, necessitating a valid driving license.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated management or supervisory experience in a social care setting is essential.
- Experience in a CQC regulated environment is preferred.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and diligent with a proactive approach to achieving supportive outcomes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations.
- Familiarity with support planning, risk assessment, and safeguarding protocols.
- Ability to work effectively under challenging conditions.
- Proficient in using IT systems.
