About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Clinical Coordinator to join our Respiratory team at Northampton General Hospital. As a key member of our administration team, you will be responsible for coordinating and booking all respiratory outpatient clinics, working closely with consultants, nurses, and administration staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and book respiratory outpatient clinics, ensuring efficient running and effective time management.
  • Manage multiple clinicians' waiting lists and ensure appointments are booked within access policy protocol and RTT directives.
  • Review Choose & Book, Directly Bookable services, and appointments booked by patients online and via GP surgeries.
  • Assist with the coordination of clinics or lists to ensure effective time management.
  • Provide general administrative services as required by the department.
  • Deal with telephone or face-to-face enquiries within agreed limits and take appropriate actions.
  • Provide cross-cover within the team during absence and implement relevant organizational changes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English.
  • Knowledge of a range of administration duties and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Planning and organizational skills to plan straightforward tasks, some ongoing, arranging meetings and diaries.
  • Develop attention to details and accuracy.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to work methodically and prioritize.
