Nuffield Health is seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Scientist to join our team at our Cambridge Hospital. As a Biomedical Scientist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality pathology services and ensuring the highest standards of care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver quality pathology services, including diagnostic testing, interpretation, and reporting.
- Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, and reporting, through to quality control.
- Keep accurate records of specimens, results, reagents, and consumables.
- Support the organization in validating and assessing new equipment and developing new diagnostic procedures.
- Contribute to the development of new diagnostic procedures and protocols.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications and laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science, haematology, and biochemistry.
- Good working knowledge of different analytical equipment and techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to maintain good customer relationships and provide high levels of service in a modern pathology laboratory.
