About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Ecotricity, a leading provider of green energy solutions. As a Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth and expanding our customer base in the SME sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets and expand our customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
  • Provide quotations for gas and power contracts, from initial tender to negotiation and acceptance stages
  • Deliver on a contact strategy to engage with existing customers and acquire new business
  • Work closely with other departments to cross-promote the company brand and products
  • Propose and apply innovative solutions for the successful acquisition of new clients
  • Support the launch of new products and services, taking opportunities to cross-sell where appropriate
  • Follow up on internal account requests, sales and account call backs, industry queries, and general account management
  • Support back-office in providing aftersales support and customer care
  • Attend off-site client meetings when required
  • Various standard and ad-hoc reporting to Senior Growth Manager
  • Ensure availability to take calls and proactively work with other members of the SME sales team to ensure cover on phone lines at all times
  • Process change of tenancies via the CRM and Salesforce systems and proactively contact all sales opportunities
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager who is passionate about green energy and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. You will have a strong commercial acumen, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Understanding of the energy industry (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong skill level in Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, or similar CRM
  • Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Packages
