About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head Coach to join our team at Everlast Gyms. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our fitness programs and ensuring that our members receive an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the Everlast Gyms brand as an ambassador for fitness, demonstrating our elevated ways of working and leading by example.
  • Lead national focuses and incentives, such as #WorkoutWednesday and in-gym challenges/events, to engage our members and promote a culture of fitness.
  • Advocate for our member onboarding program, MOVE, and deliver and lead by example in this area, supporting and training the wider team to improve confidence and delivery.
  • Own the REDEFINE product, driving cohort sales and high levels of engagement throughout the program.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor Fitness Coaches and Personal Trainers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional results.
  • Grow and optimize member engagement within your community, driving new member sales and retaining existing members to grow live member movement.
  • Deliver own on-shift classes as per gym guidelines, setting a high standard for quality and consistency.
  • Support the wider team by driving all revenue lines, from membership sales to product and secondary sales, to drive profitability of the gym.
  • Lead by example on reception and the gym floor, demonstrating a member-facing role designed to enhance every visit.
  • Provide honest, constructive feedback regularly to support all team members in achieving their potential and challenging them on a daily basis.
  • Drive personal training session sales to members and deliver personal training sessions each month, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Passion for health, fitness, and wellness, with a strong desire to make a positive impact on people's lives.
  • Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification, with a deep understanding of running personal training sessions and delivering exceptional results.
  • CIMSPA Practitioner level certification, with knowledge of the latest industry trends and best practices.
  • Strong leadership qualities and a passion for coaching others, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
  • Experienced delivery of a variety of group training modalities, with a focus on innovation and creativity.
  • Adaptability in communication and management style to motivate and inspire the team, with a positive and solutions-driven mindset.
  • A member champion mentality with exceptional interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with members and colleagues alike.
  • Driven and ambitious with a keen desire to learn and develop both behaviors and competencies specific to the role.
  • Flexibility in working hours and location to support the needs of the business, including weekends and Bank Holidays when required.
