About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Second Chef to join our team at Marston's PLC. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading by example and contributing to the delivery of exceptional food and service experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and organize the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Be accountable for running the line during service, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and culinary concepts.
  • Contribute to the development of the kitchen team, providing training and coaching to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Second Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen environment.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
