Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and maintaining the security of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure & Systems Engineer to provide IT support and provide backup for each other;
  • Ensure that user support requests are logged and receive prompt attention, and all IT issues are resolved and documented in a timely manner;
  • Maintain IT servers, networks, software, and office systems, monitoring IT systems, and carrying out capacity management, maintaining data storage and backup solutions;
  • Support R&D engineers to implement and manage different R&D software;
  • Install, support, and maintain all network-connected devices, providing support for Hyper-V server virtualization, SCCM, etc.;
  • Ensure the security of all IT systems and equipment;
  • Communicate and coordinate with the headquarters IT department on IT projects implementation when needed;
  • IT assets management, IT policies improvement;
  • Other IT-related tasks assigned by the line manager and/or senior management;

Requirements

  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role;
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin;
  • Knowledge of IT core infrastructure, Windows Servers & Exchange, SCCM, LAN, WAN, and internet technologies;
  • Bachelor's degree or above in computer science and/or a related IT subject;
  • Other relevant IT certificates are a plus, such as CCNA, VCP, MCSE, MCSA;

Personal Skills/Competencies

  • Ability to prioritize and work to changing deadlines;
  • Experience of working in partnership with the business to scope requirements and develop fit-for-purpose technical solutions;
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills;
