Job Title: Facilities Contract Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Contract Coordinator to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school facilities, creating a safe and conducive environment for our students and staff to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  2. Fire and Major Incidents: Develop and implement procedures for responding to fire and major incidents, ensuring the safety of students, staff, and visitors.
  3. Financial Accountability: Manage and maintain accurate records of facilities-related expenses, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  4. School Management: Collaborate with school administrators to develop and implement facilities management strategies that align with the school's goals and objectives.
  5. People Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, ensuring that facilities are maintained to a high standard.
  6. Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute facilities-related projects, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of organizational and time management skills.
