Job Overview

As the Counterparty Network Specialist at Fintech-Rec Group Ltd, you will be at the forefront of our expanding operations. Your expertise in process enhancement will be crucial. By understanding the diverse requirements of counterparties, you will facilitate a seamless experience that upholds our commitment to quality and timeliness, thereby strengthening our counterparty network.


In this position, you will manage multiple initiatives concurrently, fostering collaboration across departments to elevate our counterparty experience and refine governance practices.


Your strong communication skills will enable you to cultivate robust relationships within the organization, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Management

  • Oversee the EDD review process, ensuring compliance with the highest standards.
  • Effectively manage the counterparty network to optimize performance.

Counterparty Governance

  • Assess and redesign the governance framework to align with strategic goals as the organization grows.

Ongoing Counterparty Management

  • Establish a comprehensive tracking system for all counterparty engagements, ensuring alignment with key performance indicators.
  • Coordinate reviews and meetings, maintain reporting, and ensure adherence to risk controls.

Documentation Oversight

  • Create and maintain a systematic approach for managing counterparty interactions, including a repository of responses to common inquiries and essential documentation.

Internal Communication

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to deliver regular updates on counterparty network activities.

Counterparty Optimization

  • Drive counterparty expansion by identifying underutilized capabilities and securing stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage new capability implementations and enhance cost efficiency in collaboration with Finance.
  • Identify gaps in the counterparty network and propose strategic improvements.

Trade and Credit Risk Management

  • Ensure effective management and development of trade and credit risk practices as the company scales, focusing on robust risk management to support growth.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a related role, preferably within FX and payments.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and confidently.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive in challenging processes to find optimal solutions.
  • High ethical standards to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • A collaborative team player with a curiosity to learn and grow.
