As our business continues to grow, we are excited to introduce the position of Counterparty Network Specialist. This role presents a unique opportunity to become a pivotal figure in our operations within the Markets sector.
Your Impact
Your enthusiasm for enhancing processes will be crucial. By thoroughly understanding the needs of counterparties, you will ensure that our clients consistently meet their requirements with the utmost quality and efficiency, laying the groundwork for a robust counterparty network.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage multiple projects concurrently while fostering collaboration across various teams to improve the counterparty experience and refine governance practices.
Effective Communication
As a strong communicator, you will cultivate relationships throughout the organization to facilitate a seamless onboarding experience.
Attention to Detail
Your meticulous nature will support the achievement of our clients' ambitious goals and long-term plans.
Key Objectives (6-12 months)
Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Reviews
- Oversee and manage the EDD review process, ensuring all standards are met with excellence.
- Effectively oversee the counterparty network.
Counterparty Governance
- Evaluate and redesign the governance framework to align with strategic goals and facilitate ongoing management as the organization expands.
Ongoing Counterparty Management
- Establish a comprehensive system to monitor and organize all counterparty engagements, aligning with key performance indicators. This includes scheduling reviews, maintaining reports, and ensuring compliance with risk controls.
Document Management
- Create and maintain a thorough system for managing counterparty interactions, including a repository of responses to common inquiries and necessary documentation. This initiative aims to streamline processes and enhance response times.
Internal Communication
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop regular updates on counterparty network activities for the business.
Counterparty Optimization
- Drive counterparty expansion by analyzing underutilized capabilities and securing stakeholder buy-in for initiatives.
- Manage projects for new capability adoptions, ensuring effective communication with all parties involved.
- Work with Finance to enhance cost efficiency related to counterparties.
- Identify and address gaps within the counterparty network, proposing strategic enhancements to align with business objectives.
Trade/Credit Risk Management
- Ensure effective management and ongoing development of trade and credit risk practices as the organization scales, focusing on robust risk management to support growth and mitigate potential challenges.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role, preferably within FX and payments.
- Highly organized and adept at managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills are essential; you should be confident and articulate to drive progress.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to challenge processes to find optimal solutions.
- Commitment to high ethical standards to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- A curious mindset, eager to grow within a forward-thinking organization.
- A collaborative team player.
Work Environment
