As our business at Fintech-Rec Group Ltd continues to grow, we are excited to introduce the position of Counterparty Network Specialist. This role presents a unique opportunity to become a pivotal figure in our operations within the Markets sector.


Your Impact

In this position, you will leverage your enthusiasm for process enhancement. By thoroughly understanding the needs of counterparties, you will ensure that our clients consistently meet their requirements with excellence and efficiency, laying the groundwork for a robust counterparty network.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects concurrently while fostering collaboration across various teams to improve the counterparty experience and refine governance strategies.
  • Communicate effectively to establish strong relationships within the organization, ensuring a seamless onboarding process.
  • Utilize your attention to detail to support the achievement of our clients' ambitious goals and long-term plans.

Key Objectives (6-12 months)

Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Reviews

  • Oversee and manage the EDD review process, ensuring compliance with the highest standards.
  • Effectively administer the counterparty network to optimize operations.

Counterparty Governance

  • Evaluate and redesign the governance framework to align with strategic goals and facilitate ongoing management as the organization expands.

Ongoing Counterparty Management

  • Establish a comprehensive system for tracking and organizing all counterparty engagements, ensuring alignment with performance metrics and facilitating timely reviews and meetings.

Document Management

  • Create and maintain a systematic approach for managing counterparty interactions, including a repository of responses to common inquiries and essential documentation.

Internal Communication

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to produce regular updates on counterparty network activities, keeping the business informed.

Counterparty Optimization

  • Drive counterparty expansion by identifying and utilizing untapped capabilities, ensuring stakeholder engagement to advance initiatives.
  • Manage the adoption of new capabilities while maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Work with Finance to enhance cost efficiency related to counterparties.
  • Identify and address gaps within the counterparty network, proposing strategic solutions to enhance business focus.

Trade/Credit Risk Management

  • Ensure effective management and ongoing development of trade and credit risk practices as the organization scales, focusing on robust risk management strategies.

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience in a related role, preferably with a background in FX and payments.
  • Highly organized and adept at managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills are essential; you should be confident and articulate to drive progress.
  • A meticulous individual with a strong ethical foundation, committed to upholding regulatory standards.
  • Capable of handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • A curious and collaborative team player, eager to grow with the company.

Work Environment
