Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £50k - £55k per annum (negotiable)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive QHSE Manager to join our established and professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality performance across all aspects of the business, as well as ensuring adherence to all company procedures and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Management:
    • Investigate and implement methods to reduce internal and external rejects.
    • Monitor and analyze existing procedures to identify areas for improvement.
    • Provide monthly quality figures and recommendations to the management team.
    • Maintain cost of quality figures for display on the notice boards.
  • Health and Safety Management:
    • Ensure adherence to all company procedures and regulations.
    • Investigate and implement improvements to safety audit procedures.
    • Act as the main point of contact with customers and suppliers regarding quality and H&S related issues.
  • Environmental Compliance:
    • Maintain compliance to ISO 9000 and stay up-to-date with updates and requirements.
    • Ensure the company is aware of its obligations and the ramifications of non-compliance to quality and health & safety legislation requirements.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have at least 4 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing combined Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management role. You will also need to be a skilled communicator at all levels and have a flexible approach to supporting other areas of the business.

Demonstrable experience gained within a high-volume plastic injection moulding, plastic processing or plastic packaging environment will be advantageous.
