About the Company: Our client is a leading manufacturer of filling and packaging solutions, recognized internationally for their expertise in the sealant and adhesives sector. As a result of their continued success and strategic growth, they are seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to join their professional team.
Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality performance across all aspects of the business, with duties split between 60% Quality Management and 40% Health and Safety Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Management: Investigate ways to reduce internal and external rejects, monitor and analyze existing procedures, and implement improvements.
- Health and Safety Management: Ensure adherence to company procedures, provide monthly quality figures, maintain cost of quality figures, and ensure compliance to ISO 9000.
- Investigations and Audits: Conduct investigations and audits to identify areas for improvement, and implement new audit regimes as required.
- Communication: Act as the main point of contact with customers and suppliers to address quality and H&S related issues.
Requirements: The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing combined Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management role, and will be a skilled communicator at all levels. Demonstrable experience in a high-volume plastic injection moulding, plastic processing, or plastic packaging environment will be advantageous.
Additional Responsibilities: Maintain the appropriate level of trained First Aiders, and ensure training in all relevant areas is maintained.
