About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioner to join our Community Team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting the recovery and well-being of adults with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of interventions and support activities to enable recovery in service users accessing the Community Team.
  • Provide a range of clinical interventions to service users and their carers, including individual and group work.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members to provide a comprehensive service to service users.
  • Assess client responses to activities and amend programmes of activity where necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with service users, carers, and other team members to ensure seamless care.

Person Specification

  • Relevant experience in a mental health or social care setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess client responses and adapt programmes of activity accordingly.
