About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioner to join our Community Team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering interventions and support activities to enable recovery in service users accessing our Community Team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide a range of clinical interventions to service users and their carers, including individual and group work in local communities.
  • Assist in the delivery of psychosocial interventions to improve mental health in three main areas: self-care, productivity, and leisure.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members to provide supporting the service user.
  • Effectively communicate and highlight any clinical risks and report this to the multidisciplinary team in a proficient and timely fashion.
