About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Potens. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our services, working closely with the Registered Manager to deliver high-quality care and support to our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the Registered Manager to maintain a high level of support and care for our service users.
  • Support the staff team to deliver excellent care and support, ensuring that our service users receive the best possible outcomes.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of support workers, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Be part of an on-call system with the Registered Manager, providing support and guidance outside of regular working hours.
  • Attend all training sessions arranged by the Registered Manager, ensuring that you stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in the sector.
  • Support the Registered Manager with the recruitment process, helping to identify and attract top talent to join our team.
  • Have a good knowledge and understanding of quality assurance, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards.
  • Cover gaps within the rota, working a variety of shifts including early, middle, late, and sleep-in shifts.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of NVQ level 3 and a willingness to complete Level 5.
