Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Linx Printing Technologies. As a leading provider of industrial printing, coding, and laser marking equipment, we are looking for a sales professional who can drive business expansion in the UK Midlands/North West sales territory.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with new prospects and existing customers to propose solutions from our entire hardware range, as well as finance and service agreements. This will involve account plan development, lead generation and prospecting, mapping decision-makers, product demonstrations, and collaboration with our marketing team on targeted campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth in the designated territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns
  • Provide sales administration, forecasting, and reporting using Salesforce

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in industrial automation or hardware sales within manufacturing environments
  • Consultative approach, excellent interpersonal skills, and good commercial awareness
  • Strong sales administration, forecasting, and reporting skills
  • Ability to drive widely 3-4 days a week with occasional overnight stays away from home
